Hindu Farmer Kailash Kolhi Gunned Down in Sindh: Massive Protests Demand Justice Now

In the first week of January 2026, a young Hindu life was brutally cut short in Pakistan's Sindh province. 22-25-year-old Kailash Kolhi (also called Kailash Kohli), a simple Hindu farmer and tenant, was shot dead on January 4 in broad daylight in a village near Talhar, Badin district. Reports say he was killed by an influential local landlord named Sarfaraz Nizamani over a small dispute—possibly about building a hut on farmland.

The landlord allegedly fired two bullets into Kailash's chest at close range and then fled with armed men.

This cold-blooded act sparked massive outrage. Thousands from the Hindu Kolhi community, along with women, children, lawyers, and leaders from different political and religious groups, hit the streets. They blocked major roads, including the vital Thar coal route and Badin-Hyderabad highway, in a powerful two-day sit-in. Their demand: immediate arrest of the killer and true justice.

The protests were united and emotional, with slogans like "Justice for Kailash" echoing as cries about the "blood of the poor" being cheap filled the air. Police promised quick action and arrest within hours, ending the main sit-in on January 10. But the people warned—if Sarfaraz Nizamani isn't caught in one week, bigger protests will erupt across Sindh.

No one should die for a minor land issue. This is an attack on basic human dignity and minority safety.

The Pakistan government must act now: arrest the guilty without delay, protect Hindus in Sindh, end impunity, and deliver fair justice.

The world is watching. Hindus deserve peace without fear.

Justice for Kailash Kolhi!

No more innocent blood!

Reality Minorities are not safe in Pakistan.
