Saudi Arabia’s Oldest Man Dies at 142 : Leaves Behind 134 Descendants
Saudi Arabia has lost one of its most remarkable citizens. Nasser bin Radan Al Rashid Al Wadaei, known as the oldest recorded man in the country, passed away at the age of 142. He died on January 11, 2026, in Riyadh after a long and full life. His death came naturally due to old age, and it brought sadness to many people across Saudi Arabia. Nasser was born around 1883 or 1884 in the southern region, in an area called Dhahran Al Janoub. This was long before Saudi Arabia became one united country in 1932. He grew up in a time when life was simple, with no modern cities, cars, or oil wealth like we see today. He lived through big changes in the Kingdom. He saw the rule of every Saudi king, starting from King Abdulaziz, who founded modern Saudi Arabia, all the way to King Salman.
