A shocking incident in Bangladesh has left a Hindu man dead after a simple argument at a petrol pump. Ripon Saha, a 30-year-old fuel station worker, lost his life when a vehicle ran him over in Rajbari district . This tragedy highlights rising tensions against minorities in the country. Early Friday morning, around 4:30 am, Ripon Saha was on duty at Karim Filling Station in Goalanda Mor. A black SUV filled up fuel worth about Tk 5,000 but tried to drive away without paying. Saha stood in front of the vehicle to stop it, but the driver sped off, crushing him under the wheels. He died on the spot, and locals rushed him to a hospital where doctors declared him dead. Police acted fast and seized the SUV soon after. They arrested Abul Hashem, the 55-year-old Muslim owner, who is a local BNP leader and former district treasurer.
