A young man’s life was tragically cut short in Bangladesh’s Narsingdi district in late November 2024, sparking grief and demands for justice. Chanchal Chandra Bhoumik, a 25-year-old Hindu youth, died after being set on fire in the Raipura area.

According to police reports and local media, the attack was brutal and deliberate. Bhoumik suffered severe burns and was transported to a specialized hospital in Dhaka, where he later died from his injuries.
